Do you love to travel? My answer of that question is a big yes. I love to travel different places and enjoy discovering a new adventure. For me I cherish the moments of traveling when I explore a place and find fun things to do. I remember when hubby, our son and I went to Utah during the winter time, I discovered for the first time

that you can actually walk to a lake when it has snow & ice over it. The snow covered a solid ice sheet that was as hard as a rock and I saw a guy driving his car at the center of the lake. Isn’t that an amazing discovery? Maybe for some people this isn’t really new, but for me it was amazing; being from the Philippines. When we went to Nebraska, we decided to visit one of their largest museums and I was surprised how wonderful the history of that place was and that it could be relived. We came back many times to the place and loved it each time. One of our dreams is to visit Switzerland one day.

It is good that I found myswitzerland.com in which I Discover Swiss "Pearls" of activities that one would need to experience & enjoy. I love crafts and to make things, so when I saw this Medieval paper making on the site, I became excited. My son will love to visit this Dream job on offer and enjoy the treats of the day. Then hubby will love to Explore Geneva by its white water rafting adventure. Next activities that I want to experience is going to the vineyards. We h

ave a blueberry farm and I enjoyed picking berries. It would be an enjoyable experience to pick grapes from their vineyards.Wow! This is a wonderful adventure I couldn’t even imagine how fun it would be. Then the last thing that we want to do in Switzerland is to climb a 4000-m (13,000 foot)-high mountain peak. I remembered when I joined the group of students in the college to climb one of the tallest mountains in our country, it was a fun, but tiring, adventure.

How are you my dear visitors and friends it is time to share what we are thankful for. This week's theme is about friends and I want to give tribute to my friends online and offline. First i want to thank God for giving us people who always there in times of sadness and happiness. I am really bless with awesome friends both online world and offline world.

* I want to thank God for my hubby and my best friend. Always there for me even sometimes my bad attitude kick in hehehhe...
* I want to thank God for my son who is my friend and partner inside our house when daddy is out. He always give me comfort specially when he sees me crying, he will get a tissue and wipe it in my eyes, he is very sweet kid and then he will say "mommy cry?"
* I am thankful for my friend Michel who got married the guy in Nebraska. She is a very dear friend of mine, a real friend. She is my best friend when we are in the college until here in US we are still very god friends. She always helps...
* I am thankful to all my other friends besides Michel because they call me once in a while.
* I am thankful also to my friends online they are very kind people even I did not see them in person just chat and visiting my blog and vice versa.

I am thankful most of all to God of being a wonderful God and helping us even we fail sometimes. I thank Him for the blessings that we receive day by day. I thank God for giving my hubby to safety when the tractor with him inside was fell to the deep ditch. I am thankful for sending two people helping him out of the ditch. Hubby was fine just a little sore. The tractor was out of the ditch now but a little problem of the parts of the tractor because it is very expensive and we cannot afford it. But I know God has a way to solve that problem. I am also thankful for my son even he is just three years old but trying to help me keep busy inside the house. He constantly find ways so that he can get more attention from mommy and daddy. Thank God for such blessing. I hope everyone have a wonderful day today. Take care.

The other day hubby have a breakdown in our farm. The tractor fell to the ditch and he was inside the tractor. It was slippery that is he cannot control the tractor from falling. He was trying to find some parts to fix the tractor but it was very expensive. One of our vehicle also in the house that is use as our family vehicle needs fixing. I want to share a recipe for summer. It is time to eat some Hawaiian Hula Punch. Fruity and plentiful, this Hawaiian-flavored drink delivers a powerful vitamin punch. Enjoy!

Fun Factoid: Papaya is the only food containing papain, a powerful enzyme that digests proteins.

Ingredients:
2 medium bananas, cut into chunks
1 ripe mango, cut into chunks
1 ripe papaya, cut into chunks
4 cups unsweetened pineapple juice
4 cups seltzer

Instructions:
In a blender add bananas, mango, papaya, and pineapple juice. Puree until smooth, and pour into glasses.

It has been awhile since I am not updating this blog but I am surprise how many readers read this blog of mine. Last time I update here my readers was just in 50's now there are 64 readers or subscribers. Thank you very much my friends I know you get a lot of lesson in this blog. Anyway, here I am again just got back Thankful Thursday and am glad to be back... I have so many things to be thankful for:

* I am thankful the one in Heaven who always be with us in sadness and in our happy times. He always gives us surprises and miracles everyday. Thank you Lord for all those things and the things to come.
* I am thankful for my husband and son who inspired me for my day to day living. They make me smile even I am in pain and if I am upset or angry they are calm (hehehhe)...
* I am thankful for my family in the Philippines because they always updating me even I am more than 12,000 miles away.
* I am thankful for my friends offline, neighbors, church members even those I just met. They are very nice and a great friends.
* I am thankful for my friends online even we did not see one another in person but the more we open to one another the closer that i can reach them all the time.
* I am thankful to God because He helps me in my online stores that will have customers. I appreciated what really God do to my life, my family and friends. My online stores are for half charity and half for my family's support. Thank God for that...If you are willing to share some love to others my stores online are serving people who love handmade stuffs.

* Lastly I am thankful that this thankful Thursday still here to let us share how thankful we are to the one above. Thanks many thanks....Take care everyone and have a blessed Thursday.

Since May I am very busy establishing my online stores. At first I opened the beads jewelry store but I close it because it seems that my interest fail down. So a friend of mine told me that I need to sell online the one that I love to do when we are in school long time ago. I am thinking of many ways and decided to open DarlingRose Paper Goods in which I sell handmade greeting cards like birthday cards, thank you cards, blank cards, note cards, business cards, book marks, tags, fashionable clipboards and more. I open an account in etsy.com last March but I start posting last June or July. Now i have some customers but not many. I need to advertise more so that I will gain more customers. Then I found a new site this month of August and open another store also sell cards and other stuff. My stores are Momgen Paper Designs and A Gift Wrapping Gifts.
